 Chino destroys the fuck out of both of them but they all very different types of artists. Probably depends on what mood your in or what you consider most important in an album.
 One thing i will say though, this Chino album dosent suffer the same fate as Raskass and canibus and the like with weak as fuck production, it actually is dopely produced and Chino can destroy any rapper in the game lyrically except maybe Crooked i.
 Also unlike Canibus Chino makes actual songs and his lyrics are more meaningful.
 Chino way more lyrical, he dosent rely on features as much as xzibit but to compare him to Kendrick well its hard because they so different.
 Kendrick is good in the way of he has multiple different flows and styles within one style(even though i dont like some of the weird shit he dose with his voice at times).
 Chinos album sounds like actual "hip hop" and old school hip hop. Xzibit, its a great album, great songs, lyrics pretty decent production not too much to complain about here. I agree with that other post , his best album since "restless"
 Kendrick has originality and creativity , the album dosent even have the dopest beats but it just flow so well together and i love the beat changes and the album is so well mixed.
 Its really a hard choice.
 One thing i dislike about the Chino album is his groupie in the back ground sayin "thats crazy!" i mean its more like a sample and you hear it once or twice in every track and that reminds me of dj tagging so gives it a bit of a mix tape feel.

EDIT: iam only comparing Chino to Ras and Bis because so often the best lyrical rappers suffer weak production or are accused of just spitting random big words or talking nonsense.
 2ND EDIT: Funny how slept on he is because he dosent make g-funk. Or because he and Tupac had beef?

yep i agree.u go thru all chino xl albums n all got pretty dope production....lyrically,the guy is a beast.i honestly think right now,no 1 comes close.as 4 the pac beef??if memory serves me correct,it was petty shit.but it probably did have an effect.i think hes happy bein underground??

yeah Chino tried to make it big before Pac with the Kreep single and while it made him an underground force it never worked mainstream wise

i like  chino XL , crooked .. but personnaly i think Chino XL rap like a death metal rapper lol  , its not a surprise that these rappers use sometimes hardrock guitar riffs with distortion ...same with xzibit on his last album ..and i like xzibit
but they dont get  the funk, blues or jazz vibe .

 But i like them all alot.

 As far as best this year thats harder. Nas would be up there, slaughterhouse even though it should've been betetr and need to give lil HD another listen. Kinda gone blank what else came out this year. E-40 tripple album good too.

 But yeah on the Chino album, its just so fucking dope.
