 Ok i just ordered some. Ok so i know its kinda stupid to pay for a brand name but fuck it. they are all discounted massively. If anyone wants some now is the time.
 I just saved like $300 or more.
 I got the black pro ones, the detox edition/version.
 I looked on e-bay, way expensive and even the Chinese fakes were almost the price i just paid.
 I did take into account some of the opinions and advice from Kendrick thread.
 Anyways, cant wait to get these i'll post feed back when i get em i guess.
 Any of you guys own them? opinions?
 Well only posting this to tell you guys about the sale if you didnt know.

I'm looking to get some as well.  Think I might go with the Sennheiser Momentum.  My only thing is I am not really a true audiophile.  I really love bass hence my love for westcoast rap.  I took a listen to the Monster Inspiration and the bass was pretty impressive.

I'm looking for comfort as well so the Monster Inspiration were great there as well.  I don't want my head to be hurting after a few hours.

Thing is it matters where the sound is coming from and I'm going to be using my iPhone the most so my dilemma lies there b/c Sennheiser is known for true sound and Monster is known for bass.

Don't think I will look at the Dre.  Think it is way overhyped but if you got a good deal that is all good

 Well i can happily say that these thinks are fucking great. Comfortable and they crank! nice clear sound and they handle the bass beautifully.

 Confused me though cos as far as i knew was from the official site but i noticed my head phones did come from China. They are in teh Detox limited edition box so so i believe they are legit.

I've had the Beats Studios for a couple of years now.  I've uploaded quite a few albums onto my iPod to test them out, but for the most part I've been left underwhelmed by the sound quality but more impressed by random MP3s that I've downloaded.  I'd much rather listen to them through my system to be honest.  There are some MP3s though that I've found sound extra good in the headphones.  Try these out if you have them:

I've been to Thailand earlier this year and they were selling Beats By Dre on every street corner. They all looked legit but the price was telling the truth behind them
And the info i found via google "beatsbysdr.com sells Counterfeit goods".

 yeah dunno but i got mates and work mates that got beats by Dre HELL cheap in Thailand too.

 As far as songs i been listening to alot last couple/few days. Slaughter house is epic thru em, Xzibit, Dogg pound, Chino XL, man e-40 sounding good as fuck right now thru em! Buy yeah system i understand but you cant always be a loud cunt around ppl. but my neighbours loud cunts anyway but yeah i live in a unit and at night and etc need head phones.
 EDIT: lol just realised there's  http://www.beatsbysdr.com/ and http://www.beatsbydrsdres.com/ i think i got them through the latter but i forget? prolly both the same shit though. Well they crank and came in what looks like official packaging n shit..
 I've purchased alot of bootleg shit in the past(anime, anime merchandise) and you can tell but these seem legit? cant say for sure i guess.

indeed! & for those who have some sort of internet protection, you will have noticed the "red aklert" on the page too! this obviously ain't legit & they are more than likely selling counterfeit goods (& in this case, this is still too expensive for counterfeit shit!)
