What do you think of Kid Ink??

Havent seen any talk bout Kid Ink on this forum (Maybe i missed it), be he is actually a west coast rapper!

At first i didnt like Kid Ink at all. Actually i really hated him for being so gooood daamn un-original! The Name?? Like a mix of Kid Cudi and Wiz Khalifa (mr ink himself).. bein all ink'd up? Yeah, Tyga and Wiz got some extra attention in the begingin, but sorry Kid Ink, its not special anymore. The rapping style?? Yeah, Both kid cudi and wiz sings just as much as they rap.. its their style.. not yours.. And the list goes on..

BUT!!! I have to admit that he might be a pretty good songwriter, he might actually have a talent when it comes to this. I mean his music is sometimes cheezy as fuck, but sometimes when things work well in your life, your smookin that good ish or havin a party i like to lissen to songs like "I want it all", "Time of your life" and "Bom Bom".. thats some fuckin bangers right there IMO..


Also like 1982's remix of "Up Every Night" with Corey Gunz and Kid Ink.



So, my question is?? What do u think of Kid Ink? Do U Think he ever will make it (he was on XXL's 2012 freshman list) Should he stick to song writing, or just leave the music biz?

Dude's got a pretty good ear for beats I'll give him that.
But other than that I could never find much to like about his shit. Occasionally he has a dope song perfect for when I'm in a party mood or just so high that I'll listen to anything but if you've heard one of his songs you've pretty much heard them all.

As for his lyrics they might be cheesy but they can work if they're executed correctly, which is something Kid Ink himself is incapable of doing for the most part with his lame flow.
That said I don't think he'll make it. He might've been on the XXL Freshmen but for the most part the XXL Freshmen alumni have been a big joke except for a fraction of the '09 & '10 freshmen.
