this is def a dj quik production, or at least quik played a huge role in the production/mixing.  it's got a few fender rhodes chords, his signature extra kick drums on the occasional 1, same processing on the guitar as back in the safe & sound/rhythm-al-ism days, the square wave lead going on, and the deep-clean 2 bar bass line.  the mixing is real big, wide, clean, and beautiful.  unbelievable song!!!!  musta been done in the summer in japan cause that's what the shit sounds like.  quik stays brilliant and winning!!  and propers to my man that posted the solo mp3.

two-j might have produced this track, but as i stated in my first post, quik must have played some role in producing and definitely with the mixing.  two-j's other productions/mixes can't hold a candle to the "world be like" joint homie.  you can see quik directing, giving pointers, etc in the video.  two-j might get the producer credit on this one, but no doubt dj quik should at least get co-producer.  another track that quik plays a silent hand in.  and i don't mean any of this as disrespect, obviously quik was impressed enough by two-j to go to japan and work with him, and dude has some really dope productions imo, but i can't ignore the fact that this track stands way above his other tracks and quik just happens to be on this one  ;)
