Calderon is in the last year of an expiring contract, and not expected to re-sign with Toronto, so Toronto really was smart by trading him and Davis to get a player like Rudy Gay. I dont think Calderon stays in Detroit, doesnt make much sense to me. Look for Detroit to move him again before the deadline to a contender.

Look for Detroit to move him again before the deadline to a contender. but toronto is not saving money, theyre unloading calderon's contract for an even bigger one..granted rudy gay is a nice player, giving up ed davis is still big. he actually has some legit potential. as for detroit, they wanted to dump salary and do need a distributor, so i dont think theyre gunna trade calderon. on second glance, the trade doesnt make as much sense as i thought it did...i think both toronto and memphis woulda been better standing pat.
