tbh this type of lynch music i haven't liked for so many years at least 10 years. he needs to drop this phony cannibal style and go back to his style from the 90's till 2001.

well, the last 3 albums were a trilogy based on a serial killer, so it might explain why the theme throughout all three albums were so similar....but i agree, we need more phonk beta+self produced tracks and less of the sometimes overly-produced/cinematic strange music beats. but i have a good feelin were guna hear a whole different lynch after this 1, cuz this lp was the last of the trilogy.

In one of his latest interview he said they proposed him a new deal after Manibalector but he doesn't know yet what he wants to do with his musical career as he wants to do horror movies

I haven't checked out Mannibalector yet (coppin it later today) but I'm sure if it's like the first two it'll be good. But I also agree, it's time to get back to his older style of production. The songs I like best on his last two albums are the ones that have less of the, like NIKCC said, "overly-produced/cinematic strange music beats", sometimes the hooks are way overdone too and kinda kill it for me but Lynch's verses save the tracks. Don't get me wrong, I do really like the whole trillogy idea, it was a breath of fresh air but I would also like to hear a more traditional Lynch album soon.

album is solid, some bangers, a couple tracks that aint my style, but overall, not a bad effort. out of the trilogy, i like "dinner and a movie" the most, closely followed by "coathanga strangla"...this one has more experimental type shit, but still maintains the same overall strange music sound. ima post a full review on it soon.
