Yo.. that's pretty dope how you have a tradition every year of taking out a few weeks and listening to all their albums beginning to end till they get old.   I don't have any tradition like that, but it's a good idea.   My tradition in that regard is to play albums based on the season that they first came out.. here's a few of them...

Winter Time:  Nas - God's Son album

Early Spring:  Daz - Revenge Retaliation and Get Back

Late Spring:  Warren G-  Take A Look Over Your Shoulder

Summer Time:  Warren G- G Fun Era, Dove Shack, The Twinz

Fall Season- Outkast - Stankonia, Dido - No Angel

lot of money with an indie project?!?!?!

you know you make more money with one cd sold independently than with one cd sold on a major record company right ?

that's the reason why a lot "big name", platinum artists are actually broke and signed their careers away to major labels while a lot of independent rappers are ballin.

that's right, but major made 500k+ from an album and an indie company max 100+/album.

Yes. If WB would release a project by himself, all profits would go to him.

Unless your name is Mariah Carey you will not make a lot of money as an artist on a major label.

lol a lot of people are making shitloads of money independently... Mac Miller & Tech n9ne being the best examples. ICP, Odd Future too. It's way more advantageous for an artist to be on an independent label than on a major unless he has negotiated a good contract, which doesn't happen too often, especially nowadays with the 360 deals. If you sell 10k independently, you'll as much money as if you sell 100K on a major.

honestly I like Wish but I don't think he could have carried an album by himself...it would have sold because Bone had a very large fanbase, speaking of I need to bump Flesh's first album again, underrated...
