no he is not . the perm,gangsta raps & gangsta beats as you say were not the real snoop dogg at all. that Snoop Dogg is was teenage punk who really did not know himself at all . snoop has grown up & got to know the real him.  you guys just don't like the real snoop . the real snoop is 1960's & 1970's R&B & funk & reggae not gangsta rap . nobody knows their real self till they are grown up . Snoop dogg was no grown up when he made Doggstyle.  Snoop dogg out grew doggy style & gangsta rap . it just seems that his die hard fans can't seem to grow with snoop or even grow little.

LOL so you are sayin' that snoop didn't know himself at a time when he was 21-22 years old and he had to get to know himself ? he was a grown ass man when he made those records he knew what he was doin'. he was influence by the funk and r&b but the music he made was gangsta rap. as far as i'm concerned, he didn't just have to continue makin' gangsta rap he coulda made some introspective shit too as long as he didn't stray too far from what his fans were use to from him which he did. note: tha last meal was gangsta rap too he was 28 at the time. did he find himself then ?

everyone is different. the thing i've always liked about artists from that era is that they were ahead of their time at a very young age compared to artists at that age now.

And a good producer is there to draw that out of them hence Doggystyle being the record it was.

Yup. No better way to combat a midlife crisis then by dressing and acting like you did when you were in your early 20's.

I'm not gonna go all-out and say I've been loving every career move that Snoop has ever made but artists experiment. That's the purpose of being an artist. Not being afraid to go with the flow and create new things. Some times, you fail at it pretty bad but other times, you don't. There won't ever be no Doggystyle 2. At least, not the version you all have dreamed up in your heads where they get everybody from the Death Row days to recreate that exact sound and feeling.

Yes and no. Coolio had zero cred after his 3rd album bombed and he dissed Tommy Boy. His last few albums have sounded cheap as fuck too

Im still interested to see how this album sounds.  Really thought "Lighters Up" is dope as fuck.  "Here comes the king" is not bad either, but the video is stupid.

Has a tracklist leaked for this yet?  Where did the info come from about the Drake, Chris Brown and T.I. features come from?
