I would say production wise Better Dayz. Disc 2 alone had some great production. Johnny J and Big Hutch did their thing on both releases. UTEOT has better overall tracks to me though from just a lyrical standpoint

I dont know really, UTEOT was a good album but there was a hell of a lot of sh*t on it,
Disc 2 of BD was good but Disc 1 was terrible apart from "Late Nite" and maybe one or two others.

I have to agree that R U Still Down & Still I Rise were the best.

Im not holding much hope in the new Pac album that has been promised being very good either, i wont be suprised if we see
guest spots from the likes of Rihanna and those kind of people...if their is i doubt i would even buy it

well at least Pac's Life had one original on it (soon as i get home) plus it had Hussein Fatal on it too

so Pac's Life my default....

and they left Late Night and Who Do U Believe In in original form

No doubt those are two of the better 2pac posthumous tracks.  The only problem was those two tracks had been on loads of bootleg albums from as far back as 98' I had been bumping those two tracks on the regular.  So by the time they came out on Better Days they were old and I already had them on other cd's.   I'm happy they were left in their original form because they were great the way the were, but at the same time when Until The End of Time came out it was like all new Pac music I'd mostly never heard before.

idk about yall but when a new pac album releases i enjoy it. cept for the the loyal to the game that was complete trash like seriously when eminem was doing all of that shit he was on drugs the whole fuckin time. how could he even entertain the fact of producing songs for unreleased 2pac tracks. that was the ONLY posthumous 2pac release i really disliked.

R U still down, UTEOT, Still I RISE,Better Dayz, And Pacs life IMHO were good albums. obviously it had filler in it of course which is one of the reasons pac didn't use alot of the songs so please people really need to understand it wasnt finished material he just layed vocals. im sure if he had his own input it woulda been great.

but Still i rise was the best of all IMO. even if it was almost a outlawz album lol

yeah, those are all good points my fellow KC homie made.

The Outlawz album may very well have been the best of all.  It sound the most like an Outlawz album that Pac would of done while still alive.  I mean, it's kind of like an upgrade of the Thug Life posse album Pac did earlier in his career.

Upgrade? Im gonna have to disagree with you there. I thought Thug Life was classic or near classic with tracks like "Pour Out a Little Liquor", "How Long Will They Mourn Me", "St8 Ballin" just to name a few. Nothing on Still I Rise touches those tracks alone.

Still I Rise to me was prototype for remix albums as far as 2pac was concerned. Granted R U Still Down I believe was released before that, those were alot of unheard tracks and it had a more old school feel and vibe to it. I remember buying that album and had heard a good portion of the OG tracks before hand and was under the impression they would not change and would just be in CDQ. The first reaction as many Im sure had was shock and anger (especially Hell 4 A Hustler, sounded like it was made underwater) for the new beats and lyrics but like KC said over time I love that album. That almost became the running joke for those albums, let's see how many OG tracks are released untouched.

that first thug life album was a classic. there was another thug life album too maybe your talking about that one cuz the first one by far imo is some of his best work. angry pac at his best.
