The only problem was those two tracks had been on loads of bootleg albums from as far back as 98' I had been bumping those two tracks on the regular. So by the time they came out on Better Days they were old and I already had them on other cd's. I'm happy they were left in their original form because they were great the way the were, but at the same time when Until The End of Time came out it was like all new Pac music I'd mostly never heard before.
and they left Late Night and Who Do U Believe In in original form
I like Better Dayz. Most people hate it because that was the beginning of Amaru remixing his shit with mainstream producers / features but this was a damn good compilation. Still Ballin, Changed Man, When We Ride..., They Don't Give a Fuck About Us, Ghetto Star, Fame, Thugz Mansion. It'd be more respected if it was a single disc.
until the end of time, but better dayz had dope cuts, as well. r u still down > both of em
I said "upgrade" but I think it would have been better to call Still I Rise an "UPDATED" version of the Thug Life album. And whoever complained about "Hell For A Hustler" soundin like Pac was under water? That album cut was superb, and I've never agreed with all the cats that say the OG versions of these songs are better. If you notice they didn't fuck with tracks like "Play Your Cards Right" and "Soon As I Get Home" or "Who do you believe in." Because those tracks were already great. Most the ones they fucked with needed to be touched up a bit cause they were unfinished tracks. For those that complain about album mixes go listen to "Because I Had 2" and compare it to the title track "Until the end of time" and that should change your thinking.
1-They remixed Play Ya Cards Right
2-Soon as i get home couldn't be remixed because the master reel was lost
3-How is Still I Rise anything like Thug Life? the only member of both groups was 2pac unless you want to count that short Big Syke verse. Two different production teams too minus JJ.

But I was told "Play Your Cards Right" was on there in the same version as the bootlegs, maybe not though, guess I will have to check out the new mix. The OG version is one of my all-time favorite Pac cuts I've had in my rotation since way back in 98.
pacs life was a disaster besides soon as i get home
