Nip still makes dope music but yea some of his beats be weak. Over all I think he's one of the last rappers to push that grimey lyrical gangsta shit that people love but his beats are more modified to today's style and real OG Euros ain't having that shit. They know more than we (Americans ) know about that gangsta shit, and well u know, whatever they say ain't west coast enough then that's the word.

He toured off of TM becuz he was already one of the most popular new rappers out period, that album just sealed the cake (he would've toured regardless of how hot or flop it was).  He had some "hits" out from his previous work so that's how there was a show long enough.



As far as "Motivational Music" is concerned I completely agree and acknowledged that in the "Official" thread that was on here when it first first came out.  And you're right, niggaz wasn't feelin it.  In fact he probably lost a couple fans or some momentum behind releasing that project (and tha 1 with Blanco too).  The music grows on u but that's after u've acknowledged to yourself that you aint gonna get wat u want from Nipsey Hussle on the project.



As far as that "Old West" argument is concerned, I think you're both right and wrong.  People/Mods on here only like to talk about The Ruthless Family Tree but that doesn't mean other people don't read whats going on in other threads about other artists and that doesn't mean people won't talk about something not related to The Ruthless Family Tree.
