Did they rush this album or what?  Did he suddenly fall off during the middle of the making of this album?

I mean, half of it is the Xzibit we all know and love.  Half of it is the exact same Xzibit we heard on his first 3 West Coast Classics.   Listen to tracks like "Losin Your Mind" and Xzibit is coming hard as fuck.  There is no drop off in his skills, intensity or hunger on many of the tracks.  Here's how I divide the album up...

Strong Half:

Release Date
Symphony In X Major
Multiply
Heart of Man
Losin Your Mind
My Name

Weak Half:

Choke Me, Spank Me, Pull My Hair
BK to LA
The Gambler
Missin You
Right  On
Bitch Ass Niggaz
Enemiez

there were some weaker tracks, but none horrible.. "the gambler" was dope, i liked "choke me, spank me" for what it was (cant go wrong wit a dre production), "enemiez" was average, "bitch ass niggaz" was an interlude, "missin you" was a tribute to his moms, not great, not horrible, "bk 2 la" did sound forced...overall, it was a dope album. a step down from "restless", but still better than anything up until "napalm".

from the tracks you didn't mention, wasn't really feelin "right on" too much, but thought "harder" was bangin. one of the best tracks was the premo track, which ended up only on the bonus disc.

I must be one of the few who liked WOMD. That period when he first got StrongArm Steady together was dope n most shit they put out was fire.

The Gambler is my fav song on that album. Anthony Hamilton drops a sick hook, the beat is awesome, and xzibit slams the track hard.

i agree, it was one of my favs too...not one of the knockers, but one of the smoother joints that went hard.

I agree with you, half of the album is really terrible. Mostly because of the beats in my opinion.
