Lakers were just cursed this year.  Seemed like nothing could go right, and that they had to exert a lot of energy just to pick up some wins and stay in the playoff hunt.   Phil made everything look easy when he was in LA, bottom line is they aren't the same without Phil Jackson.  I never thought Dantoni was a good coach.  

Lakers are going to have some problems now.  Kobe is getting to that age where he's very injury prone and there is talk of retirement.  Lakers fans should be concerned.  I like the Lakers and love LA, really too bad to see Kobe go down.

The man has not sat for like 2 weeks, been playing the entire games with no rest. Thats not good on any body especially someone in there mid 30s. After he got injured the first 2 times that should of been an indication that maybe he should of sat him. At least sit him at the end of the 3rd and let him rest until the 10 or 8 minute mark of the 4th. If he would of did that maybe the injury wouldn't of happened, kobe was playing on fumes man.

It's likely going to be something big.  I remember when I was watching the replays last night, when Kobe took his body weight off of his foot, you saw his foot flap a little bit, which is what happens when people's Achilles are torn.

Right... and in contrast I really think it's smart what the Heat have been doing.  They've been taking this opportunity to sit Lebron and to sit Wade.  It's a long season, Wade is getting up there in age, and Lebron has a power game that puts a lot of wear and tear on his body.  Very important they get this time so they can be stronger in the post season and possibly even further their careers.
