Snoop was cool with B.I.G. + 'Pac from around '93 (maybe earlier). They were all on the same stage in New York for Puffy's birthday. There are photos of B.I.G. + Snoop from what looks like Murder Was The Case times. 'Pac shouldn't have: A) Expected someone who just got off a murder charge to get into any trouble, B) Needed someone else to help fight everyone he had beef with especially when none of them wanted to say anything back.

Snoop dissed Biggie on the song "Keep it real dogg" in '95 and you'll notice Kurupt and Daz jumped in the beef before Pac even did because of their trailer getting shot up (which was thanks to Biggie crying on the radio)

I don't think he wanted Snoop to ride on em, but was pissed that he said he had love for them when Pac knew for a fact that they were basically complicit in him getting shot.

The Source Award show too, Snoop was riding hard. But steer the court case it just seemed Snoop didn't want no more drama.

Both played it off like they were best friend before and during the Death Row run. I think at the end though, 'Pac's rage was just out of control that he wasn't thinking right. 'Pac was one some other level shit and he was acting crazy like he'd smoke too much strong weed. Weed can make you go one of two ways, one way is to be really relaxed and chill like Snoop, the other is to suffer through paranoia. 'Pac had some really bad paranoia. It's sad that the greatest rapper ever story ended the way it did.
i think it had nothing to do with the weed & more about 2pac getting shot in N.Y. . 2pac never trusted anybody after he got shot in New York . Biggie was suppose to be a good friend of 2pacs & you seen what happen . so i would be paranoid too. plus 2pacs family were black panthers &  paranoia come with being a part of that.

Biggie had nothing to do with the shooting though and that's a fact.

Bullcrap !That is not fact at all . It is your stupid opinion . there is no proof he did not do it . SO get off Biggies dick . Biggie was suppose to be king of New York & that means he knew about ! So come at with the bullcrap . Biggie was a bitter & backstapper. nothing you said was a fact.

Well, there is a lot more to this story than just the Pac-Big aspect of it. According to people in Pac's camp, he and Snoop weren't seeing eye to eye for awhile but were trying to keep up appearances for the sake of the label. Frank Alexander had said there was noticeable issues behind Snoop not doing some live appearances and I recall in the XXL article on the making of "Makaveli" that one of the Outlawz had said he was taken aback by Pac giving a shout-out to Snoop on the intro to one of the songs (Toss It Up?) because him and Snoop were having issues with one another.

While Pac and Big's feud was the one most talked about as far as Bad Boy-Death Row and East vs. West was concerned, it could be argued that Suge and Puffy's issues were actually stronger. One of Suge's closest friends, Jake Robles, was murdered by an associate of Puffy's, over a disagreement at Jermaine Dupri's birthday party in Atlanta in 1995. Supposedly, the guy was also trying to kill Suge and a lot of the problems stemmed from that. Then, you also have the "New York, New York" video shooting.

I think Snoop and Pac were just different cats. Snoop was the more mellow guy while Pac was at the height of really being ready to go on anybody. I think he would have eventually cooled down on the beef shit but there was so much going on in his life that he really probably didn't have much proper perspective but who knows? Doing that interview probably didn't help Snoop's cause much though.

Jealous-ass prima donna bitches the both of them. But still professional enough to take care of business, so it's all good.

That was regarding the performance where Pac was onstage with Ice-T.  The story was that Snoop's dog had accidentally hung itself from its leash and it jumped over the balcony or something, and he was really depressed about it to the point where he didn't want to do anything, specifically go onstage and perform with Pac, which was the original plan.  Pac was peeved by that and wondering how the death of a pet could get in the way of work.

But Pac expected more.  As much as you can't fault Snoop for not wanting to ride like that, you can't really fault Pac much either.  Loyalty aside, look at the situation.  They were all on Death Row Records, at that time the most feared record label not known for being soft and not pressing on people.  At the same time, Snoop has always been a gangsta rapper and was still all about claiming Crip.  We're talking about gangs, not some car club or activist movement.  And it's not like he had a sit-down with Pac saying that he disagreed, he did it on what was essentially a public forum.

what snoop did was whack, point blank.. it probably stemmed from earlier disagreements with pac, cuz if he was riding with pac 100%, he woulda never said that shit.

I respect Snoop for being honest. Everybody lies and makes it seem like they were Pac's favorite person at his time of death. Like Nas with that ridiculous story about him approaching Pac ready to fight and Pac saying "nah were brothers...come with me to Vegas". Or Wyclef who's supposedly had pics with him and Pac that he's never bothered to mention or release for 17 years.

Agreed

Word... On the one hand Snoop should of rode for his homeboy, for Death Row, and for the West Coast.   By him not taking a strong stance, the shiny suits of the East ended up taking over after Pac died, and then the South came up and destroyed hip-hop.

But on the other hand I still love and respect Snoop, because I understand that he had just gone through a long trial for murder, been narrowly acquitted, and he felt it was time for him to start thinking about his kids and his future.
