I'm still curious about Kahn wanting a player option over a guaranteed year.

From David Kahn's mouth:

I think Kevin really had his heart set on a fifth year. I think his friendship with Russell Westbrook (who signed a five-year deal with OKC) made it difficult to accept, but that's why I also prevailed upon Glen that we should relent and give him a third-year option so he felt like he was winning something too.

wow...kahn really is an idiot. i dont blame him for the draft choices, but thats just retarded.

If you actually follow any team outside of the Lakers, you'll realize how bad other teams are ran. Man, being a Laker fan since birth, i was spoiled... no wonder other fans hate the Lakers. Still, I love wearing my purple and gold. I'm just worried my Gasol jersey wouldn't be good after this year.  :-\

i duno why u'd feel i only follow the lakers, i actually have a pretty vast knowledge when it comes to the nba and basketball in general.. i just didnt know kahn was that dumb and even had trouble believing it. this may just be the year we trade gasol.

When I say follow, I mean follow them like your own team. Since I live in MN, I might as while pay attention to the 'Wolves too. But I go online and listen to 570am and I read the LA Times, so I follow the Lakers closer. But I do listen to the local radio on the way to work and read the StarTrib every morning too, so I see the Kahn blunders. That's what I meant by follow.

But yes, Kahn was that dumb, which is why no one gives him the benefit of the doubt with draft picks. I think the most outrage was Johnson over Cousins, but in retrospect the Flynn over Curry will live on. But based off fans first reaction, the Johnson over Cousins pick was the one that had people mad here. Of course no one talks about that now, now all you hear is "we could have had Curry." LOL Only the real college basketball fans and draft nuts said that in 2009, most fans were happy with Flynn.
