Dr Dre no he wanted to have his own lable i dont think he would be intreasted in any deal where he isnt the boss
Quote from: EAZY-LI on May 03, 2013, 04:01:06 PMDr Dre no he wanted to have his own label i don't think he would be interested in any deal where he isn't the boss I'm not sure I agree with that. I think had either Eazy or Suge played their cards right, they could have kept Dre around. Jimmy Iovine, love him or hate him, gave Dre what he wanted. He's got someone handling the business side of things while he works with the artists. I feel Eazy's biggest mistake was he underpaid Dre on his contract. I mean, the big punch line was how Eazy was making all these points on Dre's Death Row work but if he'd kept the guy happy and paid and set him up with his own deal at Ruthless, it would have been huge for them. Same with Suge. He had Pac, Snoop, and Dr. Dre. Even if all three of them could not stand each other. By 1996, all three of them could have had their own studios and sub-divisions and developed their own talent. That's why credit goes to Jimmy on this one. Once Dre had developed Eminem and 50 Cent, they each had their own label, own artists, movies, movie soundtracks. The divide and conquer thing doesn't work when it is people making you money.

I think your talking more about Dre staying at ruthless but the question was would he go back which probably would of been a really weak look for Dre.
