Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

First time I watched this in 20 years. I remember it being very good at the time and it still holds up well. Didn't really remember how it ended. Was a nice surprise to re-watch this for the first time ind HD. Directed by Jim Jarmusch. You got mafia elements, the soundtrack by Rza mixed in with some samurai wisdom and the slow pace and scenery that  Jim Jarmusch is famous for.

Watched it again.

Deep Cover (1992)

Somehow I had never seen this before. I was surprised the Dre and Snoop song wasnt featured much during the movie at all only a couple of seconds in the background but it played during the credits.

As for the movie itself it was really good and while I watched it I remembered that Laurence Fishburne and Jeff Goldblum both had small roles in different Death Wish movies in the 70s and 80s and now played the leading role here together.

I didn’t really like the ending though but it’s worth seeing.
