He also said Jordan was as strong as LeBron is - pretty interesting, specially coming from Artest mouth, since he and MJ had some issues in the past, when he was a member of the Chicago Bulls. Plus, he played against Wizards Jordan, not prime Jordan 8)

Meho

I can already see where this thread is going :)

Individually, sure. Whatever. I guess take as much as you want from the mouth of Ron Artest.

But as far as a team has to go to defend what LeBron brings to the table, it's no contest.

LOL @ "no contest".

I suggest you to read the article below before you start making posts like that:

Oh, and wake me when LBJ will have a 32/8/8/3/1 season :)

Michael was the greatest player I've ever seen. I only saw Kareem as an aging legend, I never saw Russell or Wilt, but I saw Jordan. And Jordan was the best ever, you can't deny it.

Preach Bruh no contest...PS Kobe definitely more skilled then Lebron as well Lebron is a beast and a great all around player best player today but thats only because of his size he gets injured or loses size hi is not even close to as good but the skillset that both MJ and Kobe posess is pure skill as opposed to pure athletic ability which is what Bron Bron has.

yes u can....rodman says magic is the best ever. different players, different opinions. the whole GOAT thing is over-glorified by the media. all the top-tier players were the greatest at what they did, u cant objectively say one is greater than the other. at the end of the day, the safest way to put it; mj=kareem=wilt=russell=hakeem=bird=magic=kobe=robertson=shaq.....thats my 10 top-tier players of all time, and they're all the best at what they do. the only thing that can separate them is rings, and in the case, russell is the GOAT...everything else is a matter of opinion. to me, once ur in the top-tier, ur as good as possible. thats all there really is to it.

I already knew you will come out with a statement like that :) But you forgot to mention that is was Jerry Stackhouse, who guarded Kobe in this game most of the time - not Jordan. And even tho MJ was past his prime in Wizards years, he still schooled most of young guys, dropping 30 and 40 points on their asses.

^but you understand that artest is typically known for being on crack, right? i mean, u cant really believe that a 40+ year old MJ was harder to guard than kobe in his prime, can you?? LOL

That's why this statement is so interesting, specially coming from his mouth - but I bet that, if he would say Kobe past his prime was harder to guard than Lebron now @ his tip-top shame, you'll be quoting left and right him like a muthafucka, without any "crack comments", right :)?

but you do realize he's wrong, though, right?

look at the FG% (as well as how many fgs were taken), 3pt% (as well as how many 3's were taken), AST to TO's and PPG. and let the record show artest grew up playing vs kobe vs him being a bit younger seeing an old man jordan. so not only did artest get schooled more by kobe than he did by wizards jordan, he was also a better defender/player overall when he went up against kobe all those years in comparison to when he played jordan. kobe beat down the best artest there ever was. jordan never saw DPOY ron (that was the following year after mj retired). /end thread
