Man UN-UH!  No pitcher is worth $300 million, no player is worth $300 million either.  A few years back there was talks of Albert Pujols wanting a 10 year 300 million new contract from the cardinals.  Looks like the cards made the right choice not doing that.  Angels look stupid paying Albert $20 mil a year now.  Player would have to average .400 60+ 200+ rbi's 100+ stolen bases every year to deserve that.  And pitchers would have to average 30+ wins & 200+ K's every year also.  I ain't sure who is wanting this, kershaw or the dodgers?  But whoever does this has big time overdosed just like whoever told that lie that the clippers wanna trade blake for dwight.

Well I'm sure Kershaw doesn't have any problem getting a $300 million dollar contract. And right now the Dodgers are currently discussing a local tv deal that could potentially be worth billions, if it gets done they probably couldn't give a fuck about payrolls. That said, they'd better win some WS titles though. Hopefully they won't steal Robbie Cano away from my Yankees by giving him a deal right up there with A-Rod and Pujols.

That said, Mike Trout and Bryce Harper are performing at a rate where they might get $400 milli+ contracts in the future.
