Huge news - The unimaginable!!!
« on: March 12, 2003, 06:04:23 AM »
I got some news. Tha Realest has just recenlty put the finishing touches to his album Witness Tha Realest. Not only that but his in house producer Marv has been dropped from 2Real. The young up and comer who brought great cuts like Bullet Proof Soul (original) & N Case I Don't Wake Up, Special Kind Of Mother and many more. His sound-a-like Stevie J has taken over from lead.

You think that's it?!!! Not even gave you the most shocking news yet - remember where you heard it first, from ME.........

Jevon done finishing his album putting the final touches to the album witness tha Realest and claiming to have a shock for us, He did, he was working with his usual crew Ray and all them. No Top Dogg from what I heard, twista’s on there, his whole last circle crew he works in the studio with like doobie and all them. Tell u though, people criticise him, the albums sounding hot, very hot. Sssh think it’s on for June 9 release. No word yet though. Heres the shock I was telling you last week, now Jevon was recently working with a certain big name bay area artist. Now that artist got his own album coming out and a bay area/Westside group were also doing a track with this artist. Tha Realest will be on this dudes album, no question, I’ve been told he would be on there. But the shock is the group working on the bay artists album was the same group that happened to be in the studio as the same time as tha realest. Most think he & the group would hate one another but from what I was told they got on extremely well and I think they might have even recorded a few tracks together, they definitely freestyld on mic. Tha :; didn’t have no problem at all. None of their tracks will be put on tha realests album, but you can best believe any they did will no doubt appear on :; or even a bay area compilation album. Give you more updates when I get them alright, Peace!

Well first off let me start off by saying Marv has NOT been let go by 2Real. I don't know where you heard that. Also, Stevie J and Tha Realest did about 15 songs together, and I don't know what "sound-a-like" Stevie J is supposed to mean, but that's him. Stevie J is back with Bad Boy and is doing G-Dep's album right now, and also did Mary J Blige's version of "In Da Club". Stevie J will continue to produce for 2Real Entertainment regardless. And the bay area artist he made music with was C-BO, as Nino said. They did 5 songs together with Blaqthoven on the beats. 2 of them are gonna be on C-Bo's album. The other 3 will go to Tha Realest's album and/or future West Coast Mafia compilations.

He's also done songs with E40, B-Legit, and Richie Rich in the past month. I think the album might shock some of you. The album should be out this summer.

Thanks.

I meant Stevie J sounding like Marv in music - not in voice you idiot. And Enigma - I noticed you stayed quiet about a certain issue!!!!

And if your giving us recent news can you explain as you will no doubt know why Marv hasnt been getting respceted enough or getting pushed out as the album is finishing up??? Please explain this. My source is letting me know and I would suspect he has been dropped when his place is being taken over. And what do you mean he will continue to produce regardless? regardless if the other 2 in house QUIT??!! So theres definitly something going on then?! June release - accurate... You were stating more or less the same apart from the confusin of Marv

Hay, My sources prove to be accurate in time, just wait and see. The tracks with C-Bo and the scraps will be used for bay area compilations. That was correct. I already knew about the track(s) with E-40 probably on his new album. Enigma you dont persoanlly know, you get informed from the big boys just like others here are also informed.

And Tha Realest's deathrow ALBUMS didnt suck, if your black you can hear it. If your white you think 2Pac biter blah blah blah. I asked for titles of his deathrow albums and Enigma can confirm this. He had about 5 made they were Prodical Son which was something like 20+ tracks. He had Streets Don't Sleep and he had Aint Working With Feelings & another one. These are categorised titles. So check them out.
I dont know about Top Dogg -> havent heard all his album, heard about 3 tracks and thats it couldnt get it.

What are you talking about I'm hiding something? What do I have to hide? I said Stevie J will produce for 2Real REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT HE'S BACK WITH BAD BOY. I never once gave reason to say that Marv is not producing for us anymore because that's not the case at all. Marv is an ex-DeathRow producer and left in 2000. He's been working with Tha Realest and his entourage ever since. 75% of all the songs Tha Realest has done in the past 3 years have been produced by Marv.

I don't know who your sources are, but they don't seem to be fully correct. And you say I don't personally know, I just get informed. Bullshit. I'm around the whole 2Real crew weekly. I was in the studio with Stevie J, Wack Duece, Terror Twinz, Twist, Top Dogg, C-Bo, I've talked to B-Legit on the phone regarding song information on the track he did with Tha Realest. I've been around all of them. So YES, I do personally know this information, as I'm right there as it happens half the time. If you sources are so direct, what DPG member's upcoming album is Tha Realest scheduled to be a guest for? You should definately know that one.

But thanks for supporting Tha Realest, Mickaveli. You're one of the handful of people on the board who actually dig his music and look past the criticisms.

Peace.
