If U Ain't Fuckin
« on: June 20, 2013, 09:32:44 PM »
I'm curious: anybody know the reason why this song is on the 2nd II None Classic 220 album? And before that, it was intended for the Tha Shit album? As far as I can tell, KK & D have no vocals on this track...or is that the Gangsta D at the beginning? I know sometimes this nigga is singing choruses, which is funny.

Track is dope...

Maybe Quik got the idea to do a track like this from Dre? Let your production shine by taking the main artist off of it? Quik did the same thing with "So Compton."

Also, does anybody have any info about the group singing on this song? It seems like nothing ever materialized from them. They're on the Safe and Sound album though.

You can't be serious. I mean, one of them sounds a little like the Gangsta D, but maybe it's his cousin or something. I doubt Quik and KK could impersonate RnB singers like that.

Also, I think that one of the guys singing on If U Aint Fuckin is the same guy who sings on Whateva U Do from Rhythmalism.

I could be wrong.....listen to Let Me Rip Tonight from Way too funky.  You can tell quik, d, and kk's voices.    Chocolate lover from the red tape too, gangsta d all over that.

Wow, I had no idea that Quik and 2nd II None were the Chocolate Lovelites.

Is it just the three of them or is Playa Hamm (or someone else?) up in the mix?

But really there are a few voices on the track that I don't think are them. You know the real deep voice singing at the end of Whateva U Do and in the chorus of Thinkin Bout U on Rhythmalism? I think it sounds like that guy's on the If U Ain't Fuckin track.

Aight, just listened to the track...wow, these niggas are good at sounding like real singers. So, the song begins with Gangsta D, then it moves to KK, then the two alternate a bit...which vocals are Quik? Quik is singing the chorus?

Man, props for all this info, you know your shit!

What other songs have Quik singing the choruses? It's crazy to know that's him singing the high notes on If U Ain't Fuckin. Alot of geniuses can change their voice and impersonate people perfectly, so it makes sense that Quik can do this. I think the difference between his normal voice and his singing voice is greater than the difference between KK/D and their singing voice.

Who is in the 9 Inch Dix? Is that also rappers pretending to be singers, or is that a mixture of rappers and singers?
