How Do You Do will remain my favourite, but this is really really dope again

Just discovered Mayer Hawthorne. Just good music man. That ''how you do'' album is on constant repeat. To me, he is the new Nate Dogg. This guy will get really fucking big, trust me

I wouldn't make that comparison based on the fact that Mayor Hawthorne isn't involved with hip hop even close to the extent as Nate. Dope artist in his own right though, I'd like to see him do more stuff like this.

You are right, but I think he will become the new go-to guy for hooks, and sooner than later.

On the first listen, I'd say I liked stuff like the Strange Arrangement album more but just because of the overall old school feel.

Anyway, he's damn dope and it's funny that there is no American but a German Wikipedia page about him.

Her Favorite Song is another good one with a dope remix by Large Professor:

listened to the album a couple of times on the stream and it was great, but was waiting on the full version to drop before getting into it more. out now, deluxe has five bonus tracks too 8)

edit: album is pure classy and the bonus tracks are awesome. 'foo'l is :bandit: in fact the guitar playing on this album is great throughout...getting those west coast, funk vibes. another classic album from mayer and i don't throw classic around all that much 8)
