the most vanilla, boring show hosts, many reject "fill in" hosts from ESPN and boring, PC subject matter

of the national shows i prefer jay mohr, petros and money, ben maller and freddie coleman. i used to love cowherd but got tired of his elitest rants (guy acts like everyone listening is making 6 figures a year and owns a 3 car garage). but everything on NBC is just horrible.

example: i was listening one night (only sports station on the radio i could get in good quality) and the host and producer were actually debating a "if you had to pick two of these three, who would you pick" hypothetical about the following 3 players: Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and Jason Kidd. I don't call into sports shows but I was sure tempted to call in and trash them. but why waste the time on hold when i'd probably be cut off the air?

i used to think most of espn radio was the most bland that sports talk radio could get but other than that annoying do-gooder jeremy schapp anything on espn radio is better than NBC sports. oh and scott van pelt sucks too. van pelt is perfect for NBC sports...

National hosts blow. They really don't know the teams they are talking about because they are spread to thin on subject matter. I'll take local hosts and beat writers over the national press. Woj, Schefter and Glazer are top notch though but they are pros not talking heads.

710 and 570 in LA... Fox and Espn, both are good

Jay Mohr Sports is the perfect stoner sports show....hell one of the staff members (Matty) got a collapsed lung from smoking too much pot at a Phish concert

so far Jay has had Phife from tribe called quest and Jon Connor on the show....Phife was on to break down sports and talk about Tribe while Connor didn't talk much sports but spit some bars and they had to cut him off for swearing
