so it's harder to find MLB highlights than NBA highlights on youtube?

Yeah. At least NBA has their channel and they actually show clips on it. MLB has one but it's basically commercials lol

And espn just brought up that the screwjob the pirates received 2 years ago, they didn't recover the rest of the season.  And the cardinals who weren't supposed to be in the playoffs became the worst mlb team to reach & win the world series.  And that same umpire Jerry Meals, did another terrible call monday against the red sox.  And he got butthurt about the truth so he ejected the manager.  They need more instant replay.  Or better yet, computers deciding who's safe & out.  Calling the balls & strikes.  Knowing what a check swing is, the umps don't know what that is anymore.  For a bunch of years lately, players swing 2 o clock angle & in the past, umps would say no strike but everytime now its all strikes.  Fuck the human element.  Computers have no bias, people do.  Get rid of the bias & screw jobs in sports.

I hear what youre saying.

But i have a question:  Do you really want the 2 top teams always facing each other in the finals/super bowl/world series/whatever, all the time?  Does this take some of the excitement out of the game?

I don't want certain teams in the championships all the time.  I never watched the Giants face new england in the sb once.  When I did watch the nhl i'd be cool with the pens facing the wings a lot.  There be playoff matchups I get tired of seeing, especially in the 1st round.  It depends.  The issue with the cardinals is that they had far superior teams in the past[85, 87, 2002, 2005] that never won a WS but their 2 worst ones did[2006 & 2011]  I'd add 2004 but it was Boston's time.  They're world series was in the ALCS.  2011 Cards weren't supposed to be in the playoffs but did[braves choked], weren't supposed to beat the phillies but did[philly teams always choke], weren't supposed to beat the brewers but did.  Weren't supposed to beat the rangers but did.  It would be great if other teams in the NL central wins.

And excitement taken out the game?  Coaches & refs do that a lot  >:(  Like that gay icing the kicker thing, especially when the kicker already kicks it & makes them kick it again.  That should be banned but pro & college are too pussy to do it for reasons unknown.  Even though it was great when Navy beat the Irish in 2007 for the 1st time since the 60's, it got cheapened cause the refs tried to screw Navy with a bullshit phanton pass interference to keep the Irish from losing.  Navy almost got that win taken away from them.  Thankfully they stopped the run but it should have never came to that.  Nothing exciting about bullshit like that.

"Weren't supposed to beat..."?

It's baseball you never know who's going to win a game. Even the 2013 Astros could win a game in the postseason and maybe even beat another team in a 7 game series.
Plus no matter what you thought of the Cardinals you can't deny that the 2011 World Series was one of the best in history.
And I understand how infuriating blown calls can be but they're part of the game. We can't have instant replay for EVERYTHING, the games are too long as it is. And I'm anti-robotic umpires. Having a computer might be accurate but I'll always prefer a human, as every ump has their own strike zone and that makes games interesting.
And I know that by saying "they're part of the game" I end up sounding like some guy who can't let go of the old school mentality but it is what it is. Suck it up and move on.
