Jets released McElroy too. :'(

Joe McKnight was actually supposed to be "the next big thing" when he got recruited by USC. Couldn't even handle being a kick-returner. Shame.

Mc Elroy > Brady Quinn

but the jets still signed him ???  Why these sorry qb's don't go to green bay if they wanna improve themselves as qb's?  Quinn, Tebow, & some other sorry qb's.  Example.  Nearly 20 years ago the packers had a good qb tree.  Favre, Brunell, Detmer, Warner, later on Aaron Brooks.  Yes Brooks was good, he did lead the saints to their 1st ever playoff victory.  Fell off in 2005.  It was supposed to be Jeff Blake that got them their 1st playoff victory in 2000 but got injured for the season  :(  And Matt Hasselbeck.  Those backups did good elsewhere.  Vince Young coulda turned his career around but didn't get with the team soon enough.  Packers gm even said so, he hated to release Young.
