Really sad news. It's so weird because I talked with him via email just a few days ago.

I did an interview with him, maybe 2 weeks ago. Probably the last interview he ever did .

Really good album released by O.F.T.B and WA Death Row.

for real, a lot of people sleep on them because they never dropped the LP in 1996 but when it got dropped (the one OFTB  dropped) not many recognized it sadly...very slept on cd.

and of course hearing a proper version of Time After Time was the icing on the cake, too bad wide awake couldn't use that on their OFTB release.

I went to school with someone who was related to the group and he told me about them before they dropped. Once the Above the Rim soundtrack dropped and they had a song I remembered my boy telling me about then a year or two prior. I always loved that song and the one they had on the Gang Related soundtrack to.

it's a shame Time After Time was never released on one of those soundtracks...that was OFTB's best work and the guest appearance by Pac and Kadafi would have been a great look.  I'm sure a lot of people like me who got the Gridlock'd OST listened to the songs with 2pac before any other songs
