Definitely the best album of 2012 in my opinion. I think a lot of people hated on it just because it was so dope that everybody loved it. Everybody had excuses like "Yeah, it didn't bring anything new to the table, blah blah blah. It sounded too this and too that" and i think some people hated on it because they don't understand English that good.

How so?

I thought it was a good album but I hardly play it anymore.  Definitely not a classic in my book.  I think a lot of people jumped on the band wagon because he was the new thing from the Westcoast.  Another album or two and people will get bored of him and move on to the next artist.

I actually liked him better prior to GKMC.

It will definitely be considered as a classic rap album and is one of the best debuts of all time in the genre.
I need to buy it again actually because I sold the version I had in the hope of getting the UK version of the deluxe edition (which has the most extra tracks on it), but I haven't been able to find it since.

Love the storyline it followed but for me Section 80>GKMC

the story line and the cohesiveness of the project (bar two radio oriented songs) gives it an edge over section .80 imo, even though my favorite K Dot tracks are from section 80 (which reminds me i haven't listened to the album in a long ass time)

lol so u raised ur rating now and have it at a full point higher than "regulate", "reasonable doubt", and "bizarre ride 2 the pharcyde"?

the album was good, like a few others said, but not groundbreaking like many people acted.

It's better than good, and while not exactly groundbreaking...nothing else sounds like it
