artest would whoop ben wallace

he was tryna calm himself when the fans started throwin drinks at him

LOL. I haven't seen more fear on an athletes face than what I saw on Artest's face after Wallace heaved him over. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with Wallace and ran like a bitch. And like the bitch that he is he took his aggression out on the first easy target he found. He's a coward and a bully. And it's a real shame someone pulled back Wallace after Ron jumped into the stands because Wallace would have ended Metta's career with the beat down he was about to give.

I've dealt with guys like Artest my whole life. Assholes who think because they're black they can play up the black thug image and intimidate white people like Tyler Hansborough. He has very little self worth with regards to his own toughness and pumps himself up by being a bully. They never fight battles unless they are certain of victory. The first sign of doubt and they head for the hills.

Lol Ben Wallace was the one that got all pissed off in garbage time for no reason. What's he supposed to do, throw down with 45 seconds left in a blowout? Dude clearly overreacted, I don't blame Ron for stepping back. Yeah dudes a psycho but anyone would get pissed off at a fan throwing beer on them. Wallace is the one who overreacted like a bitch in the first place.

I could care less who was right to react the way they did. I'm not defensing Ben Wallace wanting to fight. I'm just saying Wallace was ready to fight whoever came his way. Artest only wanted to fight those he thought couldn't beat him. He was afraid of losing and he backed down. Sure he should have gotten pissed at the fan throwing things. He also should have goten pissed at Wallace throwing him. But he only fought back against the weaker one that couldn't win.

I'm not saying it would be smart to fight Wallace in the state of mind he was in. I wouldn't have gone toe to toe with Ben either. The difference is I wouldn't take out my fear and shame on the first weakling I run into. And I've been in situation like that plenty of times in my life to know for a fact how I would act.

"The first weakling I run into," you say it like it was some random guy and not someone that pelted him with beer lol. It's not like Wallace clocked him in the face, dude just overreacted and shoved him, that type of thing happens all the time. What doesn't happen all the time is an opposing fan throwing beer on you that had zero involvement in the competition and thought he was safe hiding back in the crowd. I think Ron is an idiot in general  and usually wouldn't defend him, but you're really grasping at straws here man.

Look, I don't know where you're from or what kind of people you hang with; but I grew up with a lot of guys on the streets just like Ron Artest. I've seen it a hundred times; a thug not being being able to take on the big dog and picking on the first little dog that crosses him. Wallace didn't just shove him, he full out challenged him to a fight and Artest backed off.

lol u dont get it...artest didnt back down because he was scared of wallace..the guy knows no fear. he backed down because he has psychological problems and was bein considered a major distraction to the team at the time. the organization and his teammates were all constantly in his ear, trying to get him to behave and keep him out of trouble. he didnt want to let his team down, so he went to go cool his tempers like his therapist told him to do when he gets into heated situations..thats why he went to lay on the table. when the dudes threw the drinks, he snapped. artest is official. he got his rep on the streets and it wasnt for "bullying smaller white guys". he would bomb on ben wallace, no problem.

He said as late as 2009 that he still wants to fight Wallace. He never fucking did. He's a coward. Plain and simple. There's plenty of people with great reps on the streets that know that can't fuck with certain types, and get scared. And they mask it with tough guy personas. The biggest killers I've ever known, and I grew up with at least a dozen I knew personally, some serving life sentences and some dead, didn't always act like the hardest guys. All but one that I know were very quiet polite nice guys unless you started something. And even some of those guys at times got scared of someone else. The bully was the one that never did show fear, but he's serving 25 to life for shooting a guy in the spine causing him to never walk again after the guy made a friendly joke about his hair-do in public. And he didn't shoot him on sight. He went home, thought about it, came back, and then shot him 3 hours later. He didn't talk about wanting to the kill the guy years later and not do it. People that talk about when they don't do it, are cowards masking their fear.
