Yeah... It's a possibility... We might make music and make records together.He definitely sounds like he doesn't know who Quik is, might have heard his name because he was Game's DJ, but it sounds like he doesn't actually know his music.

"I slapped the shit out of my sister for trying to extort me" on another note I just remembered Quik was on Ludacris' Red Light District album at the time Luda was on top of the world, so I'm sure he could have gotten close to that 100K there too

Most of his comments have a little bit of a retarded and confused sound to them. He knows who Quik is, he just is surprised by the suggestion. And 50's statements often come out like questions.
GRODT and Documentary sound like stretches to me... Quik might have mixed one or two songs on Game's album but not 50's50 Cent still doesn't even know who DJ Quik is, word to Nima

Quik didn't have much clout left in the industry at the time, and he wasn't really sought after, I'm sure Luda put him on the album cause he liked Quik and wanted him to be on his album, but by 2004 I doubt Quik's beats were still worth 100 grands, in 1999 maybe, but not 2004. either way it's a classic song in my book, the luda version more than the pacific coast remix;
yeah and so did Pharell, Timbo and them super producers, which is legitimate since they were able to sell a lot just by putting their names on a track, whereas Quik never had that type of mainstream/commercial appeal.Quik also spent $140 grand on a single Bun B verse lol. but it's nothing compared to Erick Sermon spending $200 grands on a Rick Ross verse for his mixtape (which was part of his budget nonetheless) when he probably didn't pay for Rick Ross when he spit on his Erick Onasis album in 1999 lol.
