interesting, just came across this... seems subliminal mostly but at that time who else was dissing Jay?

Hit em up was released on June 4th so that means that everyone had 3 months to respond. "Drop a gem on em" was released as a promotional single while 2pac was still alive. Chino was the first one to diss 2pac and later dissed him in a freestyle.
