Well many Laker fans might not have liked Howard being a Laker, the Lakers did make the right trade given the situation. If they locked up Bynum long term, then they might be dealing with this situation in which you spent money on a player that may never play, instead of a player who just left but now the Lakers don't have to pay for again.

Although, I still wish Mitch would have done a sign and trade for this draft. This draft is too deep not to get as many picks as possible.  :-\

he hasnt played in almost 2 years...he'll be fine when he gets back into shape.
