"Tha Shit" is the unreleased album of 2ND II None..is this Safe+Sound quality of production!! They bootleg this in 2008!! Google It!! Is Classic

The beef w/ MC Eiht take to the Compton streets, its serious .

Danny Boy album .. "It's All About Time" released in 2010 . Quik destroys on the production..

The Kid Incident? Look:  http://articles.latimes.com/1995-02-28/local/me-36972_1_hawthorne-police

EL Rey incident was the murder of a guy, Rolling 60's Crips affiliated . This is a Death Row party, and some Crips attended to the show, and insulted Quik ( Because EIHT beef ), and the TTP'S  of Quik entourage beat-to-death one of the guys.

The Police has a dossier claiming Quik,Hi-C,Zeek and Donzelly RU were responsible for the death.

Obviously Suge Knight has a way to rid them of the charges, with his contacts .

Yo, Mr. Theo, you are seriously the man, I think you might be the most learned fan of DJ Quik on the planet. How do you know so much about him?

1993-97 were chaotic years for Quik. I remember in an interview he said he woke up one day and was like "Damn, it's 1998, and I'm alive!" As for the varying quality of his music, I think Quik has made extremely high quality tracks in ever year he's been active. 93-97 were great years, and the quality dips a bit in the early 2000s. But I think he currently is as potent as ever. Track for track, The Book of David is the strongest of Quik's albums, in my opinion (#2 is Rhythmalism, #3 is Safe & Sound).

Has he rapped about his nephew killing Top Dogg before? Quik mentions his nephews a lot, never noticed any real anger towards them though.

Is his name Dante or David?

How did he hit the boy? Was the boy crossing illegally? What happened? That's traumatic. Rest in piece little one.

The song, tha shit, the beat is cool. I didn't find a full album.

The crips attended the after party? Or the show? How did try insult him? So, try literally stomped him out til he died?

That label was nothing but the damn devil.

Where do we hear this Danny boy album. Damn shame he ended trying out for American idol. I'm not a fan, but, is love to hear the production u speak of.

1994

- The Danny Boy album sessions on Death Row

Isn't 1994 a little early for the recording of Danny Boy's album? I would have guessed that the album was recorded in 1995 or 1996.

Thing I always wanted to know about Quik was the origins of his brief feud with Everlast from House of Pain.  Anyone know the deal behind that one?

His name is David Martin Blake..."Dante Blake" is a pseudonym used by him.

He hits the kid accidentally . Problaby the kid crossed the street running or outside the crosswalk.

Put on Youtube "2ND II NONE UNRELEASED TRACKS" .. there got all tracks

This is a after party of Source Awards, the Crips attended to the show because Snoop Dogg was performed along with DJ Quik.

They insulted Quik, while he performed..So Quik was it to face them..one of the dudes steals Quik cap..and the brawl begins...the crips get away but one of them (Kelly Jamerson) was caught.
On the news, were reported responsible the Tree Top Pirus entourage and Death Row Members ( Suge bodyguards ) ..but on police reports claims DJ Quik, HI-C , Zeek ( Quik's friend ) and Donzelly RU ( OG Compton TTP ) for the act .

Put on Youtube, Danny Boy "Its All About Time" all tracks available here !!

No . Quik produced tracks was recorded in 1994 and possibly early 95. Remember the "Dollaz+Sense" beat was a Danny Boy beat "Steppin"..Danny Boy give the beat to Quik.. this explain "And that little singin ass nigga Danny Boy" shout out on Dollaz and Sense.

The rest of the album was recorded after Quik tracks ( The Devante Swing tracks ) these were recorded in 95-96

The song "We Still Party" was inspired by Top Dog death

thanks for the interesting read.

i consider around 95-96 to be when quiks production hits the next level, where he crafts a trademark sound with g-one and rob bacon. the 96-2000 period is golden.
