"Bigg Snoop Dogg, occupation real
Conversation skill
Show you how to make a mill"Snoop, The Cure

I play this album cover to cover and just have to tolerate the obnoxious tags, gunshots, screams and disturbing of songs but that to me got Snoop right back in my top ten of all time.

From The Cure, I Wanna Rock, Shootemup, Blasten with Eiht to Protocol there's a vibe there and a hunger, and just a rap king on his throne.
Riderman is like Snoops classic gangsta kiddie songs like Snoopafella, Doggyland, Batman&Robin,
Then after that hardcore he slows it down with Girl from Section 8, Fuck Yeah
Ends it off nice with Fresh Like Me, World of A Gangsta, That's The HOmie, Just Me & You.

Personally, I think this was Malice'N Wonderland but something made him change his mind, because the album that came out was nothing like what he was promoting, which was a hardcore album where he isn't worried about what people will say. Then he made it a mixtape.. Dang, his fans needed this when people are saying he can't rap anymore. This 'album' satisfies me and I wish there was a version without tags.

You guys agree?

Snoop Lion Reincarnated was a great album!  Don't know why people are sleeping on it.  My son and I have been bumpin it all year.  It was a great project from the message, to the DVD, the album, long live Snoop Lion!!

That said.. I will definitely check out this mixtape based on your review

"fresh like me" and "the cure" are two of the best Snoop joints in recent years for sure...

I always said his better material was on his mixtapes (and features) - in comparison with his albums.  If he woulda just saved more of the filler tracks for the mixtapes instead of the albums and made the overall product shorter for the mixtapes then his albums post-Doggystyle would be way more appreciated than they are.  Becuz the music is there

But I too am pissed that alot of his mixtapes aren't tagless.

they have this on Itunes and Amazon with a shortened tracklist & a different cover...

DO NOT download it tho!!!!   i ordered it last night on Amazon and all the songs are tagged and are the identical versions screams and all to the original mixtape!   i was mad as fuck but Amazon refunded me so.... ::)   Snoop's team needs their ass whooped for selling a tagged mixtape but changing it up to look like an album.... all they did is take the DJ names off of the cover and take out the tracks that were on Malice In Wonderland.  and all the clips are the untagged parts of each song....

Growth from a street thug and gangsta to a mega millionaire man, father, leader who is still connected and how to navigate it all. Some shit non-legends cannot even fathom. He did once say though that his lane in hip hop limits his content,so he will have that ignorant stuff inevitably. Listen to "Because I'm Black" from That's My Work 2. He talks about Nation of Islam and his support for Obama, and how he works for unity.
