whats the line and bay area rappers been mad at drake ever since the motto remix video where gay ass tyga is wearing a blue dodgers hat

Drake on “Who Do You Love”
She got a buddy name OJB and now you know the deal
We turnt up in the studio late night
That’s why the songs that you hear are comin’ real tight
OVO crew, n*gga, thought I told you
If you a player in the game, this should hold you
And man shout my n*gga Game he just rolled through
Eatin’ crab out in Malibu with no boo
A lot of fools puttin’ salt in the game
Until these women get the notion that they runnin’ the game

Rapping 4-Tay on “Playaz Club”
I got a h*e named Real de Real
She got a buddy named SP 12, now, you know the deal
We getz freaky in the studio late night
That’s why the beats that you hear are comin’ real tight
Somethin’ to roll to, somethin’ to stroll to
If you’s a playa in the game this will hold you
Mo money mo money for the bank roll
Stick to the script don’t slip in the nine-fo
A lot of fools put salt in the game
Till when these women get the notion that they runnin’ the game, huh

Lol damn I figured he just threw a line in there or something but that's pretty bad.
lol damn

4-Tay has literally done nothing in the last Decade. Arguably, the last 15 years. While Drake could've dropped his name, it does absolutely nothing because, again, 4-Tay is completely irrelevant. Drake was paying homage by using the Playaz Club verse like that. 4-Tay should've tried to use THAT as leverage for something. A verse from Drake. Something to build off of. Instead, he just comes off as a bitter Rapper.

The moment I heard the 1st line, I knew it that he was using 4-Tay's verse from Playaz Club. Anyone who's heard Playaz Club knew that. That's his fan base. These new kids would not relate to or enjoy his music. Take the promo and move on.

Fuck that bullshit.  $4-Tay is does not come off as a bitter Rapper. 4-Tay is from era where biting is not allowed at all. So 4-Tay comes off like a MC who just his shit bit by a fake ass new schooler . Drake was wrong for It . He should not move on .Someone needs to teach Drakes biting ass a lesson. Why would 4-Tay want a verse from someone so wack . 4-tay does not want to work with Drakes fake ass.

What Drake did was not biting. It was literally paying homage. Drake has done what so many other rappers have done in the past. And if anyone is teaching Drake a lesson, it not a Rapper that has not made something even close to a decent album in 15 years. Why would 4-Tay want a verse from "someone so wack?" Because, at this point, he's wack himself. He is getting attention thanks to "someone so wack" dusting off his record from 1994 and bringing it back to the commercial ears. 4-Tay may not want to work with "Drake's fake ass," yet, he should. He's trying to make money.

Why do you think Wu Tang stood behind Drake after the It's Yours song dropped? They want to stay relevant. 4-Tay, if he wants to actually make some money, should do the same.

I think the point midwestryder is attempting to make (he's slow, cut him some slack) is that 4 Tay doesn't give a fuck about the money/relevancy and just wants credit where it is due… oops that was a Drake line  :-X

I'll agree with the relevancy part, it's obvious by the albums he's putting out. But, I highly doubt 4-Tay does not care about money though.

I'll agree, too, that Drake should've at least dropped 4-Tay's name in the song or even on Twitter, but I don't think Drake thought 4-Tay would be upset over the fact that he paid homage to his song from 20 years ago and didn't say his name.

This shit happens all the time in rap. Sometimes they name drop who's being paid homage to, sometimes not. But not once have I ever felt when rappers borrow lines that its done in disrespect. If anything it's the ultimate form of flattery.

Fact of the matter is had Drake not used this verse, 4tay's name wouldn't have been remembered this year. It's actually quite surprising Drake even knows who he is.

I dunno, a line or two would've been cool but it seems pretty cheap to almost cover a whole verse and not even give dude a shoutout.
