He sounded way out of place before 2014. In his album "The Massacre" he still had it (but notably not as hungry) & after that it was all shit. Oh & lets not act like gangsta rap is dead

I remember in 8th grade I walked up to FYE when it was still close to me and bought The Massacre the day it dropped and going home to bump it and being disappointed as fuck afterwords… I sold it back years ago but looking back it wasn't a bad album I'd give it a 3/5

More than anything, he lost his hook game. Well said. Of course he's lost some of the aura he once had. The authenticity and all the intangibles that made him popular, etc. But more than anything, the music has lost its appeal due to his lack of hooks. His last great efforts here came on the G-Unit mix tapes that came before Terminate On Sight. (Elephant in The Sand; Return of the Body Snatcher). Since then, though.....................
