QUIK needs to listen to his music. As he said with Suga Free, he don't need NOBODY on his music but him!

Nobody is fresher than Quik, fuck a guest feature nigga. Quik should release an album where all the raps and the beats are by DJ QUIK....the only features should be El DeBarge and Jon B singing some of the hooks. But even that is not necessary...Quik could sing his own hooks and he can rock the vocoder like no other.

An album with nothing but DJ Quik on it would be classic. Let's face it: how many songs by Quik are inferior because of wack or semi-wack guest appearances? How dope would Love of My Life be if there were a third Quik verse instead of a Gift Reynolds verse? How dope would So Compton be if it were Quik rapping instead of KK?

I enjoy the features from the Skanless crew. AMG is always witty too - Quik called him "the most clever lyricist" in the crew. But Quik is actually more clever than AMG and he is way above all the others. The homies are good to add a little flavor in the mix, but if Quik is worried about his album budget, he should just record and produce himself. The results would be awesome.

A 220 feature would be dope .. Such a shame they don't fuk with each other anymore. Never got the full story about why are they beefin'. Did 2nd II None fuck up or it's all Quik fault ?

P.S. I thought Quik retired, man .. Or at least stuck to producing. Wasn't he selling his equipment away ?
