My homies in town, we lookin for some rap battles in the city..
« on: February 15, 2014, 06:27:43 AM »
FUCK!!  Seems like whenever my homie is in town we can't find no spots around da way that are servin up rap battles..... I don't want to just go up in there by myself amongst dozens of KC niccaz, because you know KC ain't got any hip-hop culture to speak of... so I would feel too out of place... but if my homie is with me then it will be all good and I can serve all those fools.... we were out in the town last night just beatin up the streets cipherin around the way in the downtown areas just linkin up with fools around the way and stuff but we were searching for a spot to battle and ain't no spots poppin last night... he's only in town again tonight so now I'm google searchin for something, but if I find one you know I will post the video ya'll!! Because while I'm rappin he can be snappin the video, so I can drop ya'll the exclusive.  The other battle when I was at that city carnival with my son, I destroyed everybody but I didn't have any homie with me to take a video... but I got ya'll if we find something tonight...

Mac Lethal as an artist is ass    but as a freestyle battler he's the best KC has to offer that I know of.  he's been battling for over a dozen years too so infinite can't deny his "credibility" like he does to "Bay area artist" brotha lynch  lol

which is part of the reason I don't listen to Bay Area rap, although I don't think I would of listened to it much anyway.... But yeah, the Bays always gotten love in KC for some reason, probably because E-40 has some fam out here and maybe did some shows and broke ground back in the day.   Then like most KC rap fans they saw other niccaz was into it and jumped on a bandwagon and never got off
