SUGE KNIGHT said that Dre lawsuit is null for three reasons :

1) Dre filed an identical suit three years ago and lost, and the current suit is therefore void via Res Judicata, aka double jeopardy. Knight's lawyer: "Young's pre-petition claim was based upon precisely the same claimed evidence of distribution of Young's music during the post-petition period, even using the same Healy Declaration and exhibits supplied with his pending motion."

2) Dre's claim depends on an oral contract, which the rapper cannot prove existed. Knight's lawyer: "Young still cannot explain his alleged oral contract, and it appears he has transferred away his contractual rights and copyright rights."

3) The lawsuit has passed the statute the limitations. Knight's lawyer: "The Trustee [Knight] last distributed Young's music, if at all, on February 5, 2009. Young filed his administrative expense motion on December 13,2013, or more than four years later. Thus, his claims are barred by California's statute of limitations for oral contracts."

The lawsuit, which was originally filed in December 2013, claims that Death Row owes Dr. Dre $1,200,386.57 for unpaid artist-producer royalties, $1,179,913 for digital sales, and $676,444.44 for mechanical royalties. The $3 million comes from records sold after the Death Row Estate filed for bankruptcy in 2006.

Dr. Dre previously sued the label the same year it filed for bankruptcy over the rights to The Chronic due to unpaid royalties and, again, in 2010 for the unauthorized re-release of The Chronic Re-Lit and the unpaid royalties from those sales. This new lawsuit also claims Dr. Dre has yet to receive a bonus that would increase his earnings from Death Row album sales from 18 to 20 percent.

Suge Knight and Kanye West have put their lawsuit to rest. The two have reached a confidential settlement agreement to cover the court cost. Suge Knight filed an appeal after a judge ruled in Wests favor concluding there was no evidence that showed the shooting, at Wests party in 2005, was predictable.

Knights attorney filed the dismissal last month in Miami federal court. The judge had granted a summary judgment in November for West and his companies, but Knight appealed the decision in December. Knight was seeking millions of dollars in damages from West. Knight was shot in the leg at a 2005 Miami Beach party hosted by West, whom Knight blames for lax security. Why would Suge be responsible for this if he doesn't own Death Row anymore? Also Suge said that Dre had a lifetime management agreement with him. If so, wouldn't Dre owe Suge money?
2 Corinthians 6:8
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

6:9
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

6:10
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
