It’s hard to believe that today marks 19 years since we lost Eric “Eazy-E” Wright known now to legions of fans as “The Godfather Of Gangsta Rap.”

Last September – on what would’ve been his landmark 50th birthday – we remembered him by giving fans his “Eternal E” greatest hits stream.

Eazy died on March 26, 1995, aged only 31. The legendary founder of Ruthless Records and pioneering Gangsta Rap group N.W.A. has had an enduring legacy despite limited posthumous music releases.

Last year, as we reported back in May, Eazy-E appeared on stage once again thanks to the power of 3D technology as a “hologram” alongside Ol’ Dirty Bastard at the 10th Rock The Bells festival in Los Angeles.

As our own tribute to the legend on this landmark date we have today teamed up with Nevin aka DJ C Stylez (Nevin C. Stylez), a DJ from Vancouver BC, Canada. The talented DJ has compiled an incredible mix commemorating the work of Eazy-E for DubCNN readers! When asked about the reason for the mix and the incredible selection of records DJ C Stylez explained;

“Every year DJs and radio will play the same select commercially known tracks but I’ve never personally come across anything that really goes deep that showcases his entire body of work.”
