Big Hutch Disses Tyga, Calls Him "Suburban"

Big Hutch spoke on a range of topics recently when he sat down for an interview with HipHopDX.com.

The rapper touched on the subject of his forthcoming album, as well as taking some time to diss rapper Tyga.

Hutch said that the title of his new drop, "The Big Hit ", was partly a reflection of the way the project was released.

“I had the concept to put out a record just on the fly, like a hit, as if I was contemplating a move and then just attacking the industry, basically," Big Hutch said. "I woke up one morning, went to the studio, cut some records and then I decided to just put it out straight to my fans.”

Hutch was also keen to criticize certain rappers in the game. His track, "Death To The Fake", targeted rappers who wear skirts, but he aimed his comments at a specific target in his HipHopDX interview. In particular, he took issue with Tyga using "187" when Hutch's alternative rap name is Cold 187um. Hutch said that Tyga's use of the term suggested he was from a hood background when in fact he is from a suburban area.

“What sparked that up was a lot of cats imitating the imagery of what we’ve done already,” he said. "I was going back and forth with the situation of Tyga using 187 and claiming he’s from this area when really he’s from a suburban area and he’s not really from the hood. You have these cats putting out these records and saying how real and true they are. In actuality, they’re really some square kids trying to take advantage of real things that happen in the ghetto and real things that really go down. They’re trying to sell these cats all of this, ‘I’m popping bills. I’m turnt up. I’m this gangster and I’ve got these tattoos and I’m hard,’ and really you’re a square kid from suburbia trying to act hard. I wanted to expose that.”

Translation: I was influenced by Beyonce.

Cool you "exposed" someone who's 22 years younger than you and has NEVER said a negative thing about you.
