 Shit i never played the master system one much. I loved 2,3 and sonic and knuckles on mega drive/genesis but i cant remember that far back as to which one was the best.
 How come you left out Sonic 3D on Saturn and Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast? :P
 (they weren't as good i know).

I DONT REMEMBER WHICH IS WHICH, BUT I THINK 2 WAS THE CLASSIC. THATS THE ONE WITH TAILS, RIGHT?

 Iam pretty sure part 2 was the one with tails. I cant remember if part one was on mega drive/genesis, i think it was? but i know there was one on master system also?

The best one is 2 on Genesis for me but I had most fun on 2 for Master System

I couldn't really vote because I had the most fun when using Sonic and Knuckles to play Sonic 3
