Clips played terrible down the stretch BUT talk about obvious series defining reff calls.

Stop the bitching, clipper fans. the right call was made... Read the rules

If a player has his hand in contact with the ball and an opponent hits the hand causing the ball to go out-of-bounds, the team whose player had his hand on the ball will retain possession.

I initially thought it was a bad call too, but the further u look into it, the more obvious that all the blame goes on cp3 choking.. I don't recall doc rivers crying when steph curry was obviously fouled on that possible game winning shot of game 3, only for the refs to swallow the whistle. Bottom line, bad calls both ways and the clippers lost this game by choking a 7 point lead in 45 seconds.

like golden state got fucked?

how did they get fucked, though? read the interpolation of the rule. doc rivers was trippin bad. they lost because they didn't execute down the stretch. bad calls or not, it takes some really bad basketball to choke a 7 point lead in 45 seconds.

Yeah pretty much the same way the Warriors got fucked lol. Worst officiated sport on the planet.

The rule is stupid. I don't remember it, but Doc even said in the press conference pretty much the same thing happened in the last series where somebody hit his players hand on a reviewed possession call & they didn't use this rule. Very silly.

I don't like the Clippers though, so I'm down with the way the game finished. But that's just a bad look for the league.

doc was trippin, because he doesn't understand the rule....if u hit someone's hand and the ball goes out, then it's off you, as hand is part of the ball. the golden state out of bounds call was a bad reference by doc, because draymond green fouled cp3, but the ball was clearly off cp3. the reason the officials gave the out of bounds call to okc last night had nothing to do with a foul, as doc was trying to depict with his emotional analogy.

stop bringing up that damn rule. refs didnt even think about that shit while reviewing it because when they were looking at the replay, they only looked at 2 different angles, they came out saying both were inconclusive and because of that they stayed with the original call on the floor. they did not bring that rule up into after the game so thats a dumb argument. the call westbrick got on the pt 3 shot was the more crucial call. you cant say that wasnt a phantom call.

they said it was inconclusive, which is not a problem...the problem is that if they did decide it to be conclusive, it's clearly off of the clippers based on the official ruling, yet clipper fans are still bitching

the westbrook three point foul call was definitely ticky tack, but u can see cp3 graze westbrook's elbow as he's going up. that's the way it's been called all year (other than when cp3 did it to steph curry in the gif I posted above).....plus, its the same call Jamal Crawford got a couple plays prior....either way u add it up, the clipper whining is excessive, and this game wasn't reffed any worse than your average NBA game (although I can see why one would feel that way while watching)...no one wants to mention westbrook driving to the basket to get hit by glen davis with the whistle being swallowed, only for the refs to call a foul on an identical drive by blake griffin on the following play. a foul coulda been called when blake griffin came down on Kendrick's arm on the blocked shot, as well. bottom line, it's not what clipper fans are tryna make it out to be...I've seen much worse, and laker fans didn't cry half as bad (2004 vs pistons comes to mind)

Anyone think it will end on game 6?

I like the Clippers and hope that they do well next season, but I would love for some peace and quiet on Facebook where my friends who are Clippers fans shut the fuck up.
