I think blamin Eminem is a cop-out. For every Eminem there will always be 3 KRS 1.

"wiggers" and "uncle toms" are a problem but so is poverty and racism what can we do. but Tupac Shakur is great, but for every reason you say why he is great, one can say why other rappers are just as or more great, but until people study hip hop culture, they won't really understand what makes an mc great, all this is just emotions speakin.

For a long time I thought Tupac was not great and I still feel that. I think there was a lot of hype surrounding him.
I do respect him now for the way he let people believe in they selves. He made a lot of people proud.
Still, I think he was not that great at all as an mc. Rhymes where basic a lot of the times and, musically, it wasn't all that good either.
I know I'm steppin on some toes with this, bit this is how I felt and how I feel. Pac has been overrated.

So basically your saying that Eminem shouldn't be rapping? If that's the case then us Black Folks shouldn't be playing basketball because a WHITE MAN invented basketball. I don't like Eminem but it's not his fault that the fans are into this Hip-Pop shit. The fans buy what they like. If they didn't like it then they wouldn't buy it. He just put his product out there & they scooped it up.

Nothing to stay out of. Listen Eminem wants to go and play basketball FINE. I dont got no problem at all with him ryhming or rappin. But he comes into the hip hop game, play by the rules, if you wanna elevate and try to change the game change it for the better feel me dont be pushing numbers by providing comedy antics for the little kids, dressing up in robin suits and shit making hip hop look like a comedy act. Hip hop is deadly serious, it's the origin of all music and if he came in being real and himself then fine, I wouldnt have no problem. If Vanilla Ice had been himself and true he'd still be here today I gurentee that but he aint. Eminem himself knows he fukd up by acting like an idiot parading around. I wouldnt go into hard rock music all goth like but wearing a nice clean Armani suit now would I? Changing the games fine, replacing the face is not fine. Because of Eminems stupiditiy he has caused the people like Britney, christina, Justin etc (people he constantly dissed on record) to be able to slide into the hip hop game, he opened the door for all these stupid bitches and because the door aint a very large one, this causes other real talent from the streets (where hip hop should mostly be coming from) to sitand not have a job u get it

I agree with your first remark. Hip hop has the ability to speak about anything that is happening in the real world.
I think hip hop is not the origin of all music. Hip hop itself has its roots in reggae, jazz, soul, and funk. Basically, it's a relatively new form of music. And not any type of music nowadays is influenced by dope beats and deep bass.

if it wasnt for his beef with biggie and his untimely death
he wouldnt be considered as great he is. also he died when he was at his best. for all u know he might even have mellowed down in time and paid more attention to acting like cube. guess we'll never know
