not enough hockey interest on the dub for an official thread, but this game had a lot of action...i never usually watch hockey and was surprised. in these 2 overtimes, there was about 10 shots that coulda easily ended it (both ways)

best part about the game, dustin brown said at the end "we have a long way to reach the purple and gold"

i started following and watching hockey in '10 after my friends got me hooked on NHL '10 on xbox. its actually pretty fun to watch, the hits and shit are ridiculous, hockey players are tough as fuck its crazy. but fuck yeah i was at the parade in '12 and ill be there monday

GO KINGS GO!! another banner going up at the King's Castle. this team was better than the one from '12. the both '12 and this year fought through the adversity and got the job done. they couldve made it 3 straight stanley cup appearances if they hadnt lost to the blackhawks in the WCF last year. we got payback this year. trading for marian gaborik was probably the best move, he was so solid during the post season. once i saw the puck bounce off lundqvist pad in that 2nd OT, i knew that was it right there, alec martinez was so wide open on that angle, no body on him and just like that it was a wrap. it was a hell of a series.
