After Dam-Funk's and Snoop's Ep, I had hopes that Snoop's next album would be along those same lines, with other producers and features but still on some west coast shit. And now Pharell is producing the whole thing or executive producing or whatever, either way it probably wont be what I wanted to hear. Like someone already said, given Pharell's recent track record and the fact that Snoop is always jumping on whatever's trendy at the moment, he'll be lucky if it's as good as "drop it like it's hot" or "Beautiful", and I wouldn't call either of those tracks dope anyway. Ahhh Snoop...never fails to disappoint :grumpy: . Well we still have his old music and 7 Days. But lets look at the bright side, he might win his first Grammy with some gay ass song :tosser: .

i see it that way, when you want to hear west coast rap, go listen to it - when you wanna hear Snoop, you gotta deal with the fact, that hes bigger than just west coast rap..  cats like eg. MC Eiht should stay with what they were doin from beggining, even Cube couldnt go away from gangsta rap becouse thats him - but Snoop can do more, hes more, i dont know - flexible, altho he never should go far away from rap/funk, i cant listen to his reggae album, maybe lalala was cool, rest was not him, but he always got some dope music with Pharell

The Snoop Lion Project was actually dope. If he had trimmed down the tracklist a bit and cut off 3,4 filler songs it wouldve been an absolutely great album. Songs like "Smoke The Weed" or "LaLaLa" are great, and I was very surprised of how good snoop could do such songs.

Yes, the album was good, but Diplo and his team did eveything
Snoop just had to choose and remake the songs that they wrote for him.
So the album is good, but not thanks to Snoop  ;)
