Honestly I don't blame him. Miami panicked and threw out a fucking absurd offer, and that 30 million in that final year of the deal is way too much for him to leave off the table because there is no way he will be able to get that money for the remainder of his career when he hits 34 and wants another contract.

Plus, Bosh already won in his game of ring-chasing, I think now he cares more about money. And honestly, a combo of Harden, Howard, and Bosh sounds like a fucking recipe for disaster. They wouldn't win shit anyways.

lol @ recipe for disaster :D     now, yes, they aren't winning a title as long as the Clippers and Spurs are around.  but they'd still be a 55-27 type team while Miami next year is gonna be like a 45 win team who'll get swept by the Cavs in the playoffs

You misinterpreted what I said.

It's a recipe for disaster in terms of expecting a big things to come. To quote Remedy in the other topic, if Bosh joined Rockets it would make them one of the overall pussiest teams in the league. Miami's big three wouldn't have even made it to the Finals had they played in the West... you expect Rockets to do so with a Harden, Dwight, and Bosh big three? Bosh is a 16 PPG 6 RPG 1 APG player and has turned into a glorified three point shooter and has somehow turned even softer than he used to be. It would like be adding a better version of Gallinari to the team.

Now obviously Bosh would have a better chance of winning a ring in Houston than he would in Miami, but that's moot point because in Bosh's mind, he probably isn't winning either way. The chances of him winning in Houston aren't increased to the point where it'd be worth him walking away from 30 million. This isn't some obsessive competitor, it's Bosh for Christ's sake... the same guy who was willing to openly state to the world that he would not make any free agency decision until LeBron signed with someone.

Plus, Bosh isn't that elite type player who needs to define his legacy anyways. He could win five rings and nobody will be putting him in any serious discussions. All the more reason to just go for the money. Now CARMELO on the other hand... he actually has some serious contemplating to do.

LMAO. To be fair though, dude was a 20+ PPG guy in Toronto, so it's not like he can't put up numbers. He is older now, but I also think he just didn't work that well with LeBron and Wade, he seemed to always have big games when those guys were out.

he made the right choice.. guna play in the east, will be the man, will make way more money, wont have to play with 2 players who are even gayer than he is, etc.

looks likerockets arrow pointin down... riles guna make some good moves to keep miami a playoff team. if wade stays and they get a luol deng, theyll remain a top team in the east.

The amazing thing is they were offered Milsap for Asik, but they instead traded Asik for a draft pick because they needed to clear up the cap room to get Bosh. That plan sure backfired.

On a pro heat point of view, when lebron went back to the cavs, Riley shoulda talked melo into coming there.  Have a 2nd south beach triad.  See how that would work out.  Glad that didn't happen. But at least melo woulda finally been honest if he did.

I'm sure they did make a run for Melo, but I don't think Heat had the overall depth to attract him. Wade sat out a third of the season to save himself for the play-offs, and then he contributed nothing in the play-offs. No way Melo would be confident in him.

Now Melo SHOULD have went to Bulls because he would've provided them a missing offensive piece that they so badly need. But Bulls just didn't have enough money cleared up and were too far away from a max contract for Melo to really consider.

lol i did imagine that idea briefly but it'd be so retarded because Melo is basically a poor man's Lebron.  he's a better scorer by a small margin and is completely inferior in every other aspect of the game offensively and defensively....they wouldn't get past Indiana or Chicago next year with Melo there to replace Bron.
