Stephan A. suggests that maybe Rice's wife should've backed tha fucc up before she got smacked the fucc up.... gets suspended.

...Hey, ESPN is a business so they have the right to do whatever they choose with their business.  But damn... I feel for Smith, it's an opinion show where he is supposed to come with strong opinions, and then dude gets suspended for voicing his opinion.... wtf?

And dude repeatedly qualified everything he was saying with "you never hit a woman". ESPN was obviously just feeling the heat and had to make a PR move.

Blame Michelle Beadle. She blew this shit out of proportion like a mother fucker.

Either way though, Stephen A really shouldn't have voiced such a controversial opinion for this particular case though. The notoriety in this incident is 50 times worse than the average domestic abuse case because of the weak penalty Rice received from the league, plus the fact that there's video footage which puts a much more disturbing visual for the average fan.

Who gives a fuck and who watches ESPN for fuck sake? Those 2 idiots (Smith and Bayless) are a disgrace to a sport analytics anyway (along with Jemele Hill), so if someone can keep either one of them off screen, props to him.

Stephen A was money and was in no shape or form out of line, offensive or insensitive. ESPN is trying so hard to make this story a big deal and literally nobody cares at all. Not a soul.

Stephen A is just paying the price because ESPN looks stupid carrying this story on for so long.

this teaches women that its okay to be loud and obnoxious + stand up screamin in your man's face when an argument breaks out instead of walkin away like an elegant lady should.

real females stand down and let a ficca cool off...in the 50's, it was very normal to slap your wife if she got out of line. marriages also lasted back then. America done fucked up, yo.

Stephen A. is my nigga. I thought he was being way too soft, even. Lol @ America. Seems like women are now just as protected as blacks are when it comes to speaking the real in public.

Exactly. Bill Burr makes some similar great arguments about this in his podcast.
I don't know anything about the Rice incident, but in general women are being taught that no matter how much you provoke a man they are not allowed to hit you. Then they have the nerve to get shocked when someone retaliates physically after all the mean shit they say/do.

There are some disgraces to sport analytics on BSPN, but they're not at the top of the list.  That goes to Mark Schlereth, divot head Tim Hasslebeck, Tedy Bruschi.  All I can think of right now.  SAS & Bayless did their best when they did PTI 2gether some years ago.  But recently Bayless has been a dumbass.

America hates the truth, especially from blacks.  Stephen A. is bigtime not down with hitting women, which shocks me why they did this.  I wish I could see the beginning of this, cause all I ever see is him putting her down on the floor.  Some people coulda thought she drunk herself to pass out.  I miss the old espn in the mid 90's where they could do no wrong, only people who were hated was Stuart Scott & Kenny Mayne cause they talked too black during the highlights.

Yeah, especially black women.  Even though being ratchet, ghetto, loud, obnoxious, like Sheryl Underwood on the talk  :D has never been sexy to me or most black males.  Hitting a woman is NOT glamourous or cool.  A real woman should let their men go somewhere & cool off but a lot of them wanna go too far & egg it on, asking 4 trouble.

And many people think 2 games is too light.  Remember, the league still hates B.more & has that petty immature vendetta grudge because of 1995.  If they wanted to, Rice woulda been suspended 4 the whole season.  EVERY GAME IS CRUCIAL!  1 game can mean the difference of getting home field advantage in the playoffs & making the playoffs.  2 division games is big.  Not tryna sound like a homer.  If he was drunk driving, I want him suspended.  And the nfl still hasn't made that a mandatory suspension  >:(  Drunk driving causes many deaths.  And nfl players drunk driving is a major epidemic in the nfl as hit & run driving is in so-cal  >:(
