I know a lot of peepz in here listen to what I guess is considered gangsta rap.  And I know some of you listen to some other westcoast cats that are more underground and sometimes on less of a gangsta tip.  Just curious if anybody has heard of these artists and what they think of them.  Don't get me wrong I love that G-Funk Cali shit, but at the same time I do not constantly just bump that, so peepz that have open minds please reply.
Heres some...

Self Scientific
Krondon
AWOL One & Circus of the Shapeshifters Crew
2MEX & Xoloxinco (Of Mexican Descent)
Living Legends
Dr. Oop Capone
Lootpack
L.A. Symphony
People Under The Stairs
Rasco & Planet Asia
Phoenix Orion
Zion I
Visionaries
Emanon
Phil The Agony & Defari
Otherwize & Blak Forest
FreestyleFellowship(Aceyalone,PEACE,Mikah9 & SelfJupiter)
Abstract Rude
Darkleaf

...just curious to see if peepz have heard these artists and if they like them, peace!!

on a side note I recently picked up Phalos Mode "Phalosangeles", 40 Glocc "The Jakal", Daddy V "The Compton OG", & Mitchy Slick "Trigeration Station" and would recommend them all, but I would have to agree with others and say that 40 Glocc's is probably the weakest out of the 4.  I slept on Mitchy Slick for a while and finally was lucky enough to find his CD for a decent price.  Funny part is I know some peepz are having a hard time finding Daddy V's CD and rumor has it DPG recordz may re-release it, but I picked it up still sealed for $4.99 and bought it to see what he was about, and least to say I was pleasantly surprised.
-Mitchy Slick got funky beats and smooth rhyme style
-Phalos Mode comes correct on the mic
-Daddy V has pretty dope beats
-40 Glocc has alright beats and lots of guests

I think Phalos Mode can be found online, Daddy V is kinda hard to find unless you live in southern cali, 40 glocc is all over the place, and Mitchy Slicks CD was pretty hard to find, had to buy it online.  Only reason I started liking him was because he's been fucking around with Krondon and once I heard a few snippets off of Trigeration Station I had to have it.

And if anybody cares Mikah 9 from Freestyle Fellowship just dropped a new CD and RBX is up on 2 tracks.

Self Scientific - Dope group, Chace Infinite gets unfairly slept on due to Khalil's beats
Krondon - Dope voice, flow and lyrics, can't wait for his album
AWOL One & Circus of the Shapeshifters Crew - ?
2MEX & Xoloxinco (Of Mexican Descent) - ?
Living Legends - i know i've heard of them but i can't think of anyting they've done.
Dr. Oop Capone - ?
Lootpack - Madlib is crazy dope but Wildchild ain't anything special.Lord Quas is the shit.
L.A. Symphony - aight.
People Under The Stairs - aight, a bit overrated IMO.
Rasco & Planet Asia - Cali Agents is crazy dope, anyone know whats up with Asia and Interscope?
Phoenix Orion - aight
Zion I - aight
Visionaries - aight
Emanon - ?
Phil The Agony & Defari - Both dope as hell when they wanna be, but they're kind of inconsistant. Why have you put them together though? they're just part of the likwit crew and ain't in a group together.
Otherwize & Blak Forest - ?
FreestyleFellowship(Aceyalone,PEACE,Mikah9 & SelfJupiter) - dope
Abstract Rude - dope
Darkleaf - ?

What do you think of peeps like Tha Liks, Dilated Peoples, Ras Kass, Saafir, Declaime, Major?

Rasco & Planet Asia - Cali Agents is crazy dope, anyone know whats up with Asia and Interscope?

I dunno. It seems as if he might be off Interscope, since he released Still In Training from a different underground label (Liquor Barrell). Also, he isn't listed as an artist on 'scope's website, but hey they still have Joe Beast up as Joe Blast so who knows?

hell yeah,
I was gonna mention some others, but they seemed a bit more known then some that I listed.  Tha Liks are the SHIT!!!!!  King Tee, J-Ro, Tash, E-Swift, Defari, (old) Xzibit, Phil The Agony, BarberShop MC's, Declaime, Lootpack, Dilated Peepz.
Ras Kass and Saafir are also very dope.  But, I feel Ras Kass more so and the sad part is I don't think he is ever gonna get the propz he deserves.  I'm hoping this fugitive shit and the Priority mess doesn't hault the release of his new Goldyn Child LP, but I'm not holding my breath on it.  I gotta pick up that new mix cd by lt. dan.  Is Major the one that did that track Concrete Nigga or some shit, I remember that track was up on some DVD and I went digging and found the track and knew that I had heard the beat before.  Definitely pick up that new Phil the Agony mixCD and the new Krondon, it's pretty dope except they are saying Steady a lot cuz that's who put out the CD. Big up to Sponataneous as well, I ain't heard shit from him in a while.  peace!!

I'm curious if Phil is still down with Xzibit, or if the Liks squashed the beef they had.  Anyone know??
