I didn't peep the rematch yet but I saw the first one on Saturday night with the crowd and outside of Serius Jones VS Daylyt (Serius cooked dude btw) the battles were ASS and beyond unimpressive

those people who set the battle up were very unprofessional, couldn't manage the shitty mics/technical difficulties and couldn't control the crowd smh

I'm surprised how hard Cass came in this battle. I think he surprised everyone, including Diz. Still don't think he won but in a sense, he didn't lose either. To come back and spit the way he did vs a top battle rapper, was very impressive.

Nah, Cass had a bunch of typical disses and if you follow battle rap you'll realize that most of the shit is recycled. The 1st round where he impersonated Diz has been done a shit load of times. The difference is that Cass surprised everyone because nobody expected him to be this good and even Diz started laughing giving him props. Diz has been taunted many times on his style. If another rapper would have spit what Cass did, he would not have gotten the same hype. As for personal shit, Diz went at Cass with REAL personal shit. Not just trash talk but dug deep into his past and went into shit he did on a personal level, especially with people around his camp and career. Cass had a bunch of nice punch lines and typical disses with shit like "you ain't shit and I'm better" yada yada yada. Diz also fucked up the 3rd round but he had it in the bag by then. Most of the shit DIz spits goes over  everyone's head because he spits it fast. Nevertheless, Cass was dope. He got down and outperformed himself. He even seemed surprised after the battle on how well he did. He never stumbled and never forgot shit. But Diz was never going to win because of this. No matter how hard he came, Cass was going to get the love because of his performance even if he didn't have the better bars.

I don't know if anyone did anything "extraordinary" but the battle was much more competitive that most thought. All I'm saying is that it was very tough to judge based on what I said. Like Cham stated, there's a bunch of bias and Cass had more of the star power. It was a close battle though. Only Rd that was debatable was 1st round.
