It's not the real thing, but it was based on a project that was supposed to come out. I remember the ads for it... didn't it have a guy on the cover about to get a lethal injection?

If I remember right problems with the distribution deal with Breakaway/Navarre was the reason why it was pulled.
Death Row later found a new distributor in Priority and realesed Chronic 2000 after they found out that Dre wanted to name his Aftermath solo Chronic 2000 as well.
